The Strap Chopper machine is an essential unit for facilities generating large amounts of scrap PET banding. The wide infeed on this chopper makes feeding the strap an effortless task for the operator.
Strap choppers are the most cost-effective way to efficiently dispose of plastic and PET strapping, keeping your workplace clean and free of scrap and an ideal way to meet your waste recycling obligations whilst reducing your disposal fees.
How It Works
Just introduce the material (banding) into the infeed funnel. The feedworks (pinchrolls) will then grab the material and pull it into the rotating knife path. The feedworks will continue to pull at a rate of 37 meters per minute until the material is consumed or the operator releases the feedworks via release leaver.
